Due to recent lack of time and the fact that I needed to get a perspective on where I was going I have decided to close this site down. The initial plan to simultaneously manage four sites proved in the end to be an overwhelming task.

From now on I will focus on different things in the quest of discovering new and exciting projects. Fear not, you can still experience future creations at www.gurkoz.com so please stop by.

After some time working with Graphical Sensations I will now again shift focus from web design to drawing. Quite some time and effort was put into upgrading the GSENS site so now it's time to get back to my number one favorite hobby. The never ending quest to fulfill my drawing skills. So please check in from time to time to get a glimpse of what I am up to ;o)

The GPN site on the other hand will have to remain static for some time. Latest addition was the new front page of www.gurkoz.com but small future updates in form of rearranged Creation Archive will follow.

Finally! After a huge system redesign im finally set to launch this site again ;o)
The first time i learned quite a few tricks and ways to go about creating a site management system. This time around, i've perfected my functions and recoded the whole thing from scrach. This resulted in a management system more up to date with my own requirements needed to handle my sites.

Other than just a reworked system, i needed to "move" the old site to this new platform. This would prove to be a staggering task since i had 4 sites with both articles and images. I first started to remove GSENS from the previous site and replaced it with this GPN concept. GPN will be the future source of all my personal and free time work.

On the other hand, GSENS will be a completely separate site where i'll focus on a more market approach. Here you will be able to hire my services and get customer support for different upcomming products. www.gsens.com is currently in development but will emerge in a few months. I'll keep you all posted.

Anyway, the result of all this work is what you see today. It might not be that big of deal to you as a visitor, but for me it means a great deal in the sence of updates and the way i can work with the sites. So, whats next you might ask?, well.. after all this coding and system redesigning im pretty fed up with this at the moment, hehe. So, i'll, _again_ start to draw and try to catch up on my favorite hobby. Check in at the Creations site a while from now and i hope i've got something new and exciting to show you ;o)

So, what is he up to now you might wonder?, well.. im not acctually sure, hehe. The most recent time, I've found myself playing more and more games and i must admit, it's been hell of a fun ;o) When i was creating this new website i didn't really have that much time playing. So now im catching up on some precious games i allways wanted to put some effort into. What games you might ask?, well.. the ones i play now is as follows..

• Warcraft 3 (im at chapter 6 on dark elves)
• Morrowind (with tribunal and bloodmoon)
• Raven shield (finished the singleplay the other day, now im just having fun playing online.)
• Colin 3
• System Shock 2 (I just need to finish this old game, it's soooo cool)

Ok, enough with the games.. i hear you say "Where is the new updated on the site!?". Well, i've allready started sketching some stuff, and i'll post it here as soon as i have anything fun to show you all ;o) Other than that, it's pretty much easy street for now.

The next two weeks im going on a vacation away from work and computers (yeah sure). Im not sure what i'll be planning on doing, but im pretty sure i'll create something one of these days and i'll be sure to put it up here ;o) If the weather gets all rainy and sucky, i'll have no problem with spending a few days indoors hehe ;o)

Some future plans are small fixes and upgrades of this site, and other than that i'll devote more time to the creative aspect of sketching and drawing. One things for sure, i'll really try to stay away from website stuff at least for these two weeks, i owe my girlfriend that and more ;o)

The past few days i've been enjoying some time off, and i must say it's been great! ;o) The launch of the site went all ok, and im very pleased with the results. Also, a big yoyo to all you who stopped by and gave me some feedback. In the future to come i will focus more on content and layout of different pages and sections. Things that i really didn't had time to finish upon release. Other than this, i will spend more time drawing and sketching... i have a few years catching up ;o) hehe

What you are looking at is the result of about a full year of planning and re-designing in the quest to develop the concept and basis of GurkoZ Productions. In one sense this is the awaited v4.0 website, and in another it's a totally new concept. The concept grew and got the name GPN - GurkoZ Productions Network. So this is the future of GurkoZ Productions, a divided effort to specialize in different fields all placed within this Network website.

I started this project more than a year back with my mind set on creating a new version of my website that would stand the test of time. Previously i had only relied on HTML and static pages, and that resulted in a website where i could not update and edit the content as easy as would have liked to. As a matter of fact, the day i released the v3.0 i felt like i needed look into other ways of going about this process.

The solution for me would turn out to be an ASP and database driven website, where i could update all content and features on the fly. In respons to this, i started to develop a content/site management system that would be the base for this new website. Six months later i had a working version and continued to create the individual sites.

All this ment more work that i ever could imagine, and i had to devote all my spare time to this single project. I sacrificed a lot of things to get to where i am today. But looking at what i have accomplished i can say it was time well spent. Still there are hundereds of fixes and features i would like to add but at some point i really need to put my foot down and release the site to the public, and that point is now.

The future will consist of bug tracking and making sure the site is fully functional. I will then create more features and sections for the site to grow and prosper. And of course in hope that you will one day return here to see what else im working on.

But as of this moment im going on a well deserved vacation, and i hope you will enjoy the new site. ;o)
