Site Closed

Due to recent lack of time and the fact that I needed to get a perspective on where I was going I have decided to close this site down. The initial plan to simultaneously manage four sites proved in the end to be an overwhelming task.   From now on I will focus on different things in the quest of discovering new and exciting projects. Fear not, you can still experience future creations at www.gurkoz.com so please stop by.

New browse feature in the Creation Archive

Just updated the Creation Archive with a new browse feature that hopefully will make it easier for you people to get about ;o) The previous select menu had some different problems in various browsers.. so instead of removing it, i added a optional way of browsing. It's similar to a standard folder layout so im pretty sure you'll work it out ;o) Other than this.. my drawing are comming along nicely.. i'll have something up in a few days ;o) Untill next time..

Updated Creation Archive

Hey there again! Just finished updating the Creation Archive with some new and exciting drawings ;o) This is just some of my sketches and setups for different approaches i've tried.. so please bare with me hehe. Rearranged the archive in Old and New stuff... Old will be all my previous work since my drawing really has taken off. ;o) The New will contain all stuff im currently working on. I’s a bit unordered at the moment, but ’ll spend some time setting up all the categories in a few days. It might take some time untill i’ve got some finished work to put up here, so in the meanwhile i’ll treat you with some sketches. Im currently in a training phase where i spend a lot of time just drawing and drawing.. At the moment it’s human heads thats the big issue. After that i’ll go on with more anatomy drawing and stuff like that. But be sure, i’ll do some updates here from time to time.. if you have any questions or tricks for me.. please let me know ;o)

Imagination here i come!

The time for new and exciting drawings is ahead

Ahhhh, a stone has been lifted from my chest. The redesign of this site is finally off my back and i can devote more time to my number one favorite hobby,.. drawing wierd stuff ;o) The Creation Archive is again online featuring just about the same content as last time. The process of moving the archive from the old site was a time consuming task, so i haven’t quite had time to update it with my latest creations. But hang in there, i will collect all my recent work and place them in a full update in a couple of days from now.

Starting to pick up on drawing again

After some time i now plan to put some effort into drawing again ;o)

I just recently started to draw again. I've been totally busy the last couple of months with all kinds of stuff. Both the creation of this site and the fact that it's been a great summer has taken up most of my time. But now im going to spend full time trying to catch up with my drawing skills. Anyway, i started to draw some kind of alien thingy just out of the blue. These really are the best things to start with. Nothing can go wrong here, and if it does, you can just say "so what he have three eyes?" Thats the best thing with drawing aliens, you can do pretty much everyting you want ;o) When i've done a few of these i'll go on further with some body sketches and scenery. Then maybe i'll go over to humans, hehe argh.

Welcome to GurkoZ Productions Creations

The section devoted to creations and graphical exploration is online.

This is the place where you will be able to follow all my projects and the thoughts and ideas surrounding it. At first i planned to add a great number of articles and tutorials about different ways of creating images, but during the process of setting up the whole site i had to wait with that feature. The Creation Archive took much of my time both coding and adding all the images and descriptions. But i will try and focus future time in writing some hopefully interesting articles. Now when this whole project of creating this site is finished, i will devote more time to drawing and sketching. It will result in more images that i will post in the archive as soon as possible, so please check back now and then to have a look at what im up to. Looking at the archive today, it's pretty sad that i don't have that much new stuff to show, but this past years have all been spent on websites and various job related issues. But i promise you, the future will bring new and exciting sketches and drawings ;o)
